Raise the curtains to the 67th International Automobile Exhibition IAA - 09/2017

Leesys booth IAA 2017

The International Automobile Exhibition (IAA) is the event of the year for the German auto industry. Leesys also fevered the appointment and was looking forward to the second participation in this important show.

The automotive industry is concerned with the challenges of the future, new forms of mobility and connectivity. The car is in a phase of disruptive development. The question of whether the combustion engine will still exist after 2030, how quickly electro mobility will be introduced and how far autonomous driving progresses will be developed, is much discussed.

The numerous developments and trends within the automotive industry are impacting not only the manufacturers (original equipment manufacturer, OEM), but also the suppliers and their future perspectives. Automotive suppliers are nowadays not just pure suppliers or even extended workbenches: they develop and test the essential components for the OEMs and thus bear a concrete corporate responsibility.

Suppliers like Leesys show that Engineering “Made in Germany” stands for outstanding engineering performance and that the future has already begun in the development departments a long time ago.

As a medium sized German company from the automotive sector, the Leesys booth was visited on 14 September 2017, by a group of selected executives from the automotive sector from Mexico. The members of this group take part at the managerial training program of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy in Germany. During this visit the visitors from Mexico exchanged with Dr. Arnd Karden, CEO of Leesys, on the possible exploitation of synergies and cooperation between the two regions in the automotive industry, in particular in research and development.

We are experiencing one of the most exciting times in the history of the automobile and are looking forward to meeting the challenges ahead together with you.

The Leesys team would like to thank you for your visit and the trust you have shown in it.
