SCHAU REIN! LOOK INSIDE! - Saxony's largest initiative for career orientation - started this year's round in March 2020. And Leesys was participating again.
At the beginning of March 2020, it was necessary to find out whether electronics technicians for process engineering or process mechanics for plastics and rubber technology could be the dream job of some young people at the events as part of the "SCHAU REIN!" initiative.
The two events were fully booked. And the organizers of Leesys were happy with it.
As in previous years, the "SCHAU REIN" initiative offered more than 20 girls and boys the opportunity to get up close and get first insights into the great professions of electronics technicians for industrial engineering or process mechanics for plastics and rubber technology.
With coats and overshoes on his feet, Nico Walter led the boys and girls through the state-of-the-art production of Leesys. As a former apprentice, Nico Walther is very familiar with the questions that burned the pupils' minds about the training professions.
In the manufacturing area of the manual assembly of printed circuit boards (THT assembly) the pupils were able to try out and assemble some components themselves under the guidance of production supervisor Babette Vongehr.
The plastics processing department at Leesys clarified the question of how injection is carried out using the sandwich process and how recycled granulate can be processed in the core. The students agreed - this is "fully greta".
Thank you for your visit!
Maybe we'll see you again as a trainee at Leesys. We are looking forward to it.
